Welcome to The CraftMan. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and

use of our platform, which connects clients with independent artisans for craftsmanship services.

By using our website, mobile application, or services (collectively, the “Platform”),

you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Services Provided

The CraftMan is a marketplace that connects clients with vetted, independent artisans.

We do not directly provide artisan services but facilitate communication and transactions between users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts to

use our Platform. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

• Users must register to access full functionality.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and updated information.

4. Relationship Between Parties

• Artisans are independent contractors, not employees or agents of The CraftMan.
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any service
• offered or performed by an artisan.

5. Payments and Fees

• Clients agree to pay fees as outlined during the booking process.
• The CraftMan may charge a service fee to clients and/or artisans.
• Payments are processed via a third-party provider (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Paystack);
• by using our Platform, you agree to their terms as by well.

6. Dispute Resolution

• We encourage users to resolve disputes directly.
• The Craftman may step in to facilitate but is not liable for disputes or outcomes.
• We reserve the right to remove users involved in repeated or serious disputes.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellation policies are defined per booking and may vary by artisan.
• Refund eligibility is subject to our cancellation policy.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Circumvent the platform to avoid paying fees.
• Engage in any unlawful or harmful activity.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform (text, logos, images, etc.) is owned by The Craftman or licensed for use.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify it without permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms or engage in

harmful behavior. You may also delete your account at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The CraftMan is not liable for:

• Any direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the Platform.
• Artisan performance, delays, or incomplete work.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The CraftMan, its employees, and affiliates from

any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your use of the Platform or breach of these Terms.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept

the new Terms. Please review them periodically.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
